Event Details

The 8th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum cum 2018 International Council on Women’s Health Issues (ICOWHI) Congress aims to bring together international and local leading authorities in nursing research, nursing education and clinical practice, to present and discuss their insights on latest innovations and developments in holistic care.

The Forum including The Grace Tien Lecture, has invited worldwide distinguished healthcare leaders and professionals to be our keynote speakers. With the theme "Holistic Care Now and into the Future: Implications for Practice, Education and Research", the Forum aims to bring together international and local stakeholders in nursing research, nursing education and clinical practice, to present and discuss their insights on latest innovations and developments in their specialty areas.

Registration is open from 22/06/2018 09:00(HKT) to 07/12/2018 23:59(HKT) on a first-come-first-served basis. The registration quota for this event is 100.

*Remark: Registrants of the 8th Hong Kong international Nursing Forum cum 2018 ICOWHI Congress are entitled to join the Frontiers in Medical and Health Sciences Education 2018 to be held on December 18-19, 2018 free of charge.


~ Registration fee
Non-local delegates : HKD800
Local delegates : HKD200
Staff & Students of The University of Hong Kong and Johns Hopkins University : Waived


~ Registration is inclusive of attendance to Opening and Closing Ceremony, Keynote Addresses, e-Poster Exhibitions, Concurrent Sessions, complementary lunch and tea receptions, name badge, on-line program book and electronic copy of certificate of attendance. Separate registration will be required for Post-forum Events (details to be announced).


~ Registration are subject to acceptance on a first-come-first-served basis and will not be processed until full payment has been received (if applicable). Please ensure that the correct amount of payment is made and do not send cash.


~ A Confirmation of Registration letter will be issued by email to the address supplied when all relevant payments have been cleared by the respective banks. Official receipt (by request) will be issued by mail to the address supplied within one month after the forum.


~ Payment method : credit card on-line payment (HKD only) or bank draft is accepted.


~ Credit card on-line payment : The HKUEMS accepts all credit card payment on-line, inclusive of those from overseas banks. Credit card information will be securely transmitted to "Joint Electronic Teller Services Ltd. (JETCO) Payment Gateway" provided by the Bank of East Asia for transaction authorisation. NO credit card information will be retained by the Event Organiser.


~ Bank draft : Please send a print-out of your registration, together with a bank draft of registration fee (in HKD) make payable to "The University of Hong Kong", to the following address -
