Did you know that HKU offers grants of up to $250,000 for teaching development purposes? This SDS (Teaching) lunch-time seminar will provide you with an opportunity to explore and consider this valuable funding opportunity currently being offered by the HKU Teaching and Learning Quality Committee (TLQC). If you are a teacher in the Faculty who is considering implementing a new T&L innovation or enhancing a currently existing programme, please come along and feel welcome to ask questions and share your ideas. Tips for success will be shared!
Dr Weng Yee CHIN
Weng is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Family Med & Primary Care (FMPC) and the Bau Institute for Medical and Health Sciences Education (BIMHSE). She is currently the co-chair of the MBBS Quality Assurance subcommittee of the MBCC and sits on the Faculty Teaching and Learning Quality Committee (FTLQC) where one of her responsibilities is to review Teaching Development Grants (TDG) proposals prior to submission for funding.
