Summer rains have brought out mosquitos and midges! With all the different mosquito repellent products out there, which are natural and can be used without worrying about chemical effects? Come join our all-natural, DEET-free DIY mosquito repellent making workshop! We’ll introduce everyone to different herbs from our garden, then handpick organic patchouli from our garden to make a personal anti-itch mosquito balm for you and your family!
About Lung Fu Shan Environmental Education Centre (LFSEEC)
The Centre was jointly established by the Environmental Protection Department and The University of Hong Kong in 2008. Located on the hill behind The University of Hong Kong, it is also close to Lung Fu Shan Country Park and Pokfulam Country Park. The three single-storey buildings in LFSEEC were once staff quarters for the Water Supplies Department and are Grade I and II historical buildings. The revitalized Centre now offers informative exhibitions, green design facilities and an organic garden for visitors to visit. In addition, the Centre also provides tours and workshops on a variety of biodiversity and sustainability issues.
