Need help with your Teaching Development Grant application? Did you know that HKU offers grants of up to $250,000 for teaching development purposes?

In conjunction with the upcoming visit of visiting scholar Dr Cynthia Whitehead (Wilson Center for Medical and Health Sciences Education Research, University of Toronto), Bau Institute of Medicine and Health Sciences Education (BIMHSE) will be holding a Research and Scholarship (R&S) Sharing Session on September 12, 2017 (Tuesday), details as follows:
· Date: September 12, 2017 (Tuesday)
· Time: 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm
· Venue: Seminar Room 4, G/F, Laboratory Block, Faculty of Medicine Building

We would like to encourage all potential applicants who are planning to submit a proposal for the next rounds of the HKU Teaching Development Grant (TDG) to make a short 15 minute presentation of your proposal. This will be a valuable opportunity to learn from successful TDG applicants and receive feedback from experts in medical education.

The upcoming deadlines for submission of TDG applications are:
· October 13, 2017 (Friday)
· December 29, 2017 (Friday)

**All TDG proposals must be vetted by the FTLQC and endorsed by the Associate Dean (Teaching & Learning) prior to submission. For further information, please contact Dr Weng Yee Chin (E: / T: 2552 4640 or 3917 9080).
