The book is authored by Matthew Friedman, CEO of The Mekong Club and former USAID and United Nations' expert.

The event organized by Bright Hong Kong and the University Museum and Art Gallery, The University of Hong Kong, will take place on January 18, 2018 at the Fung Ping Shan Museum’s Drake Gallery located at 90 Bonham Road, Pokfulam from 18:00.

This extraordinary testimony illustrates a phenomenon present in our days. In his research, Matthew has interviewed hundreds of freed slaves throughout South and Southeast Asia, as well as imprisoned traffickers.

Join us to the launch of Matt's book and support the efforts to eradicate this scourge that questions not only our consciences, but the highest sense of humanity.
