【第一場】星 • 夜行 【1st Session】Night Safari under the Stars
posted by HKU Sustainability Office for HKU and Public
Event Type: Other Event/Function
Event Nature: Education
Nature during summer nights is just as spectacular as nightlife in the city. Stars sprinkle across the sky while animals scuttle and flutter across the ground. Have you noticed them in your busy life? This August, search for nocturnal animals on Lung Fu Shan with us! Our night safari will continue onto a grassy field, where under an insect evensong we’ll explore summer constellations and share stories of the sky!

About Lung Fu Shan Environmental Education Centre (LFSEEC)
The Centre was jointly established by the Environmental Protection Department and The University of Hong Kong in 2008. Located on the hill behind The University of Hong Kong, it is also close to Lung Fu Shan Country Park and Pokfulam Country Park. The three single-storey buildings in LFSEEC were once staff quarters for the Water Supplies Department and are Grade I and II historical buildings. The revitalized Centre now offers informative exhibitions, green design facilities and an organic garden for visitors to visit. In addition, the Centre also provides tours and workshops on a variety of biodiversity and sustainability issues.
