Event Details

This workshop will learn the importance of documentation and record keeping/report writing to ensure accountability, facilitate coordination of care between providers and for service improvement. Often this maybe neglected when counselors focus on direct services to clients. Case conceptualization and report writing will be demonstrated and practiced throughout the day. Ethical and legal implications with children and elderly protection in our community are emphasized.

Objective
1) To understand the importance of documentation, record keeping and report writing
2) Providing hands on experience in formulating adult and children cases
3) Opportunities to practise documentation/ report writing

This workshop is only opened to Year 1 & 2 students of Master of Social Sciences in Counselling.
