CITE Research Symposium 2017 (CITERS 2017)
9-10 June 2017 (Friday & Saturday)
Rayson Huang Theatre, The University of Hong Kong.


The symposium’s main theme is “Empowering Communities, Innovating Learning, Learning to Innovate”

This conference aims to investigate these questions. Specifically, the following sub-themes will be explored:
1. Learning analytics and educational data mining
2. Learning and assessment at scale (OER, MOOCs, E-learning, etc.)
3. Virtual and augmented reality
4. Game-based learning and gamification
5. STEM education and Self-directed learning
6. Computational thinking and coding education

The symposium will feature sessions on a broad range of topics related to the above theme and sub-themes. In addition to invited keynote speeches and paper presentations, there will also be experience sharing panels, hands-on demonstrations and discussion forums. Symposium activities are organized as a two-day event. On each day, there will be keynotes and parallel sessions on e-Learning, including introductions to CITE projects that focus on various areas such as self-directed learning (SDL) in the Science KLA, as well as e-Learning implementation in schools.
