The British Chinese Armed Forces Heritage Project: "Chinese Dragons, British Lions" Thematic talks
(April 8 - May 27, 2017; CPD-LG.17, HKU)
This thematic talks, "Chinese Dragons, British Lions" in collaboration with HKU Department of Sociology, will be the first of a series of exhibitions and events organised by The British Chinese Armed Forces Heritage (BCAFH) Project. This project, funded by the UK’s Heritage Lottery Fund and collaborated by Ming-Ai (London) Institute and Regent’s University London aims to uncover the unparalleled contribution that Chinese military servicemen have made to the British Armed Forces throughout the 19th and 20th Centuries.
There are limited places available for the thematic talks so attendance will be on a first come, first served basis. Both the exhibition and the talks are free to attend.
We invite you to live the experiences of those in the British Armed Forces through the eyes of people who were there at the time, explore the history for yourself and discover first hand the enormous contribution that the Chinese servicemen have made to the British Armed Forces throughout history.
All content of the above thematic talks will be uploaded to the British Chinese Heritage Centre (http://www.britishchineseheritagecentre.org.uk/) in July 2017.
For further enquires about the exhibition and thematic talks, please email to Ms. Laura Ritchie-Robert at email@example.com
