Background information:

The course "Ultrasound-Assisted Clinical Skills for Disasters" is now open for application. This one-day basic course will provide medical students with an understanding on the integration of Point-Of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) with life-saving clinical skills in disasters.

The course is hosted by HKU Emergency Medicine Unit and co-organised by A&E Training Centre (Hospital Authority). It is co-taught by a team of physicians, health-care professionals and experts from both units. The course is organised for Hong Kong Academy of Medicine and Hong Kong Jockey Club Disaster Preparedness and Response Institute, and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

Registration is open from 26/01/2017 07:00(HKT) to 17/05/2017 23:00(HKT) and the event organizer will select the successful registrants after the deadline.
