The lifeblood of non-profit work relies on attracting talent; strong advocates to advance missions and funding. In today’s media intense environment, competition for supporters’ attention, time and funding in the Third Sector requires effective communication. Thinking beyond logos and tag lines, why should someone give time or money to your NPO over another? The right NGO-brand affiliation improves the company’s social license and reputational capital and protects the brand against risk and potential backlash. This workshop highlights some basics of responsive communication, creating touch points with donors and the power of authentic stories that move people to join your cause and mission. Through case study, speaker will demonstrate the importance of branding strategy for long –term development.
