HKU Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition 2016

Challenge yourself to describe your research within 3 minutes to a general audience and win travel support or a book prize!

The Graduate School and the Knowledge Exchange Office (KEO) are jointly organizing the HKU Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition 2016 for our final-year RPg students. The 3MT was developed by The University of Queensland, Australia in 2008. This is an academic competition that challenges RPg students to explain their research within 3 minutes to a general audience. It also celebrates the discoveries made by research students and encourages skill development in communicating the importance of research to the broader community.

Please visit the HKU 3MT website (http://www.ke.hku.hk/hku3mt) for details of the 3MT concept, eligibility criteria, presentation rules, judging criteria, prizes and other Competition information; and “LIKE” KEO’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/hkukeo) to get the latest information about the Competition.
